CAPE Member Patty Herrera Testifies at the Capitol
Patty Herrera, a CAPE member in the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, recently testified before members of the House Health and Human Services Committee. Herrera discussed the high cost of health care for state employees. The Committee voted unanimously in favor of House Bill 1335, which uses tobacco settlement money to help low income state employees with children pay their health care premiums.
