 Activists Gather in Pueblo -
         Discuss CAPE's Plan to Win

CAPE activists from all over Colorado gathered for a day long conference in Pueblo on June 2 to discuss CAPE's plan to improve state employee jobs and services.

Pueblo Regional Center employee Sarah Cline talked about getting co-workers to sign CAPE's health care petition, and the impact it had on state legislators this year. Leslie Matthews speaks at CAPE conferenceLeslie Matthews, an employee in the Dept. of Public Health and Environment, talked about CAPE's effort to collect 1,000 ideas to improve public  services earlier this year. CAPE members delivered the ideas to the Governor. »Learn more.

CDOT employee Roger Hessler told participants about new equipment that he and other co-workers recently invented to improve road services as part of a larger discussion about CAPE's 21st century approach that focuses on bringing management and frontline workers together to solve problems.
